Walking.
Walkers will be in heaven! The house is situated about one minute’s walk from the famous Cornish Coast Path. To the East are Port Quin and Port Isaac. This stretch is known as “the mother of all coast paths” and lives up to its name by providing an exhilarating walk to the delightful fishing village. Here you will find some charming shops and delicious food…… a well-earned reward for all that exercise! To the West, the path winds dramatically up to The Rumps on Pentire Point from where you can see Tintagel and – on a clear day – Lundy Island! Keep walking to reach Polzeath. Further still you will find yourself heading for Daymer Bay and Rock.

Cycling.

The Camel Trail provides a wonderful day out for the whole family. Beginning at Wadebridge (where you can hire bikes, trailers and all the paraphernalia you need) you can cycle to Padstow along the glorious estuary with its wealth of bird life. Once in Padstow, tether your bikes and explore the wonderful shops and restaurants. You could even visit the delightful Cinedrome – the 153 seater cinema which first opened in 1924! Alternatively you could cycle towards Bodmin along the beautiful and mystical River Camel – an unforgettable journey.

Shopping.
There is a positive wealth of exploration at hand when it comes to shopping. Wadebridge has transformed into a wonderful town, rich with shops and restaurants. There is everything you could want here, from funky surf clothes, to jewellery, from delicatessens to supermarkets. There are art galleries, a fantastic bookshop, a wonderful traditional hardware store, auction rooms, chemists, toyshops and several clothes shops. Not only this, there are some truly wonderful restaurants and bakeries. You will need at least a day to see all the shops and at least a week to try all the food!

Watersports.
EppHaven is only 10 minutes away from Rock and Polzeath. Rock is well known for being a superb sailing centre, but there are plenty of other things to do there as well. At low tide there is a superb beach which takes you all the way round to Daymer Bay. Polzeath is a fantastic surfing beach. You can hire wet-suits and boards at any of the beach shops.
